When you use TexAgs as the basis for research for your articles, you're not really a credible journalist. I liked BZ when he was younger, but not so much recently since he turned to become a "shock jock" only interested in clicks and stirring the pot. I can honestly say I don't believe I've read a single one of his articles in probably 3 or 4 years.

I think he particularly feels influential in negative news cycles when one of his inside sources hints a coach is definitely going down. He doesn't tend to go negative until he has a solid inside insight then he serves that inside source by driving decisions towards their position.

In all honesty: that's not a lot different than TexAgs and they seem to have different sources. If it's all an echo chamber of one decision maker and they are leaking then I'd be more concerned.

It's frustrating to not be able to visit with the coordinators, especially of course the DC, could really help us (and our stories) with some insight. Jimbo offers mainly a fans' perspective on D, and some fans actually have better insight. Players are left to try and explain.

I think BZ should remember that media members being invited to interviews and press conferences is a courtesy.

Maybe individually he himself should be held out of the next few, based on some of his "Mickey mouse" side comments, and let's see how the Houston Chronicle feels about the whole dynamic afterward
