It's clear that Jimbo has lost the majority of the team. What? 26 in the portal now.

We were good enough to finish 5th 2 seasons ago.

So the fact we finished 5th 2 years ago in a weird Covid year makes you feel okay about the state of the program today?

So does Bama's Covid-year Championship have an asterisk like the Aggies seemingly do EVERY TIME someone tries to discount what that team accomplished against an ALL SEC SCHEDULE that year?!?!

I'm sick of this narrative; it reeks of bias, & you're foolish for perpetuating it. Besides, mere mention of "The Covid Year" doesn't excuse this year's dumpster fire, but it sure as hell is disrespectful of that team's success/ effort. If we want the current team to have success, perhaps we should encourage them to mirror that result & effort rather than flippantly discounting such when it actually happens.

You're right. I'm going to fall asleep tonight being giddy over our 1939 Natty.

I support the team. I go to games. I watch on TV. I love Aggie football. But the fact we had a good year 2 seasons ago does nothing to make me feel better about the 2022 season. Has as much relevance as our 1998 SWC championship. We stunk it up this year, and the start of the off-season hasn't been great.

I hope things get better. I'll go to games and watch next year just like every other year. But I'm not going to try to put lipstick on the pig that our program is today.

Another season of 18 and 19yo starters. This is what a program in a tailspin looks like.
Could very well lead to a contract extension and another $2 million a year in salary.

We have 85 scholarships. What is a majority of 85? Hint... it isn't 26.

What is far worse than Jimbo are fans like you that want to do nothing but crap all over the place.

You've done well.

We are 13-11 since the night Achane's individual greatness saved us from blowing the Orange Bowl to a UNC team thats best players opted out of the game.

Clinging to that season for hope is moronic. The situation has completely changed.

NOooo... Finishing 2nd two years ago indicates there is no reason to panic or act like I'm on Melrose Place.

We had substantial injuries on the OLine. We lost 2 to medical retirement before the seasons started. We lost 3 to season-ending injuries. We had 1... ONE Starter on our OLine that has been in college for 3 years.

And at TE we lost Max and started a true Freshman. Counting TE+OLine, our starters had 12 years experience counting their season this year, for 6 positions.

Every other school had starters almost exclusively with 3+ years in college. Look at TCU. I think they had 24 or 26 years of experience for their 6. Others were all in the 20s.

We had a bad season. ONE bad season which was plagued with injuries. Get over it. We'll bounce back with a very experienced team next year.

Some of us are quite capable of seeing that this year is totally unacceptable & an unequivocal dumpster fire; our past successes (1939, SWC, 1998, Orange Bowl) in no way excuses the current trajectory of the program, which obviously isn't good. Thus, WE AGREE WITH YOU & the other malcontents that the situation is bad; WE ALSO AGREE that some may mention the Orange Bowl as a coping mechanism!!!

However, the Orange Bowl victory was still an awesome achievement; folks' minimization of that event (& especially by adding that damn "Covid Year" label) simply to trash Jimbo is a lazy, dick move. It may very well be the zenith of Jimbo's time here, and if so, Jimbo is assuredly going to be fired so rest easy! Still, don't discredit the player's achievement in your cathartic rants about the current ****-show; it's low rent.

We were 8-1 in the SEC. It wasn't like it was padded with FCS teams.

By lumping in this bad season with an 8-4 season last year isn't a clever way to show a dire future or 2 disaster seasons.

We went 5-7. We lost to App St. I get it. It was a bad season.

Fisher could win 3 consecutive Nattys over the next 3 years and some you would say they don't count because he had 1 bad season.

Ross Bjork, on his Yell and Review, said he'd like to finish top 12 in the Director's Cup but said A&M couldn't win it. A&M only plays 20 sports, lol; I looked up the sips; who've beaten it the last two years, and you guessed it, THEY ONLY HAVE 20 Sports. The AD is an Excuse maker with no high expectations, and I wish Byrne were still here. At least all our other sports won under Ross, like a 4/20 win, and they hired a coach who's never been a college assistant or head coach to run our volleyball program. I'd call Del Conte right now and hire him; he's turned its athletic department into a juggernaut and paid for great, proven on top of their game coaches, not maybe, hope and see if it wasn't for Schloss and Cardwell, and I love Ford, Ross should be gone, cares about building stuff not winning stuff
