Truth be told, I wish we could cut ties with Jimbo and roll the dice and see if Luke Fickell is the real deal. I am not liking Jimbo's hires post-Elko.

Ultimately I am fine with Jimbo right now. I don't mean I want him fired at the moment, but if we had the chance, I would like to catch an Urban or Dabo for once.

We shouldn't need to go after any hires like this. If we can't attract a young, dynamic OC or our coach is too stupid to know we need one..,.we are finished.

I do think it's clear that the problems with how Baylor treated sexual assault extended well beyond the football program. And they did try to act like it was all a football problem and they had purged the football program and there was nothing left to say or do. But what was going on with football was extremely ****ed up.

That was a Baylor problem trying to cover their sorry asses for having no title 9 in place and reporting zero SA.. That's why they paid him 18 million when he was terminated then later wrote an exoneration letter .

There's no way Briles didn't know what was going on and if he didn't he sure the hell should have. He was running the show. He got way more than he deserved. Blaming Baylor's failures on the media is pathetic. No, no, and double no to him. We can and will do better.

I'm not saying to hire him. I don't know anything about the situation, other than what bullcrap Baylor concocted. Baylor did what was best for Baylor on a campus-wide rampant rape problem. Being raised southern Baptist, I am pre-disposed to distrust anything those lying sacks put out. Ken Starr was a real stand up guy.

I won't judge anyone based on a driven narrative. I'm sure there is more to the story, and I'd like to hear it.

And, that interview is worth a watch.

And you know this how? He was a scapegoat.

I can't see why hiring him as a consultant would be so awful. I would see keeping him off the coaching staff would be appropriate but not a consultant.
