If we are going to embarrass ourselves with a scandal hire. Go big or go home.

Well, if you are gonna have an affair go big or go home. I bet that freaking Petrino has some cool stories to tell around a campfire.Madmarttigan said:
I love how people are constantly comparing a man who condoned rape to someone who had an affair (although a really bad one)
One is someone's personal life who is no one's damn business really and the other isn't forgivable.

I do think it's clear that the problems with how Baylor treated sexual assault extended well beyond the football program. And they did try to act like it was all a football problem and they had purged the football program and there was nothing left to say or do. But what was going on with football was extremely ****ed up.

There's no way Briles didn't know what was going on and if he didn't he sure the hell should have. He was running the show. He got way more than he deserved. Blaming Baylor's failures on the media is pathetic. No, no, and double no to him. We can and will do better.ColoAg95 said:someone on another thread posted this, and it's worth watching. I don't know him at all, but I believe Baylor needed a scapegoat and the media loves to crucify people. And all the media does is lie...

Truth be told, I wish we could cut ties with Jimbo and roll the dice and see if Luke Fickell is the real deal. I am not liking Jimbo's hires post-Elko.
Ultimately I am fine with Jimbo right now. I don't mean I want him fired at the moment, but if we had the chance, I would like to catch an Urban or Dabo for once.
