Agree. I was being diplomatic since so many here "know" that 2022 represents all Jimbo is capable of, and therefore must be fired. Firing Jimbo would be the biggest mistake A&M would make since hiring Fran.

If you look at the CFP teams and almost all of the Top 10 teams... they ALL have RS Jrs and RS Srs that fill out their OLine. They all have players that are 3+ years into college.

Again this highlights my biggest frustration with Aggie football, the lack of Aggie sportswriters who actually educate the Aggie fan base with things that matter! I swear we have the laziest sportswriters of any major program, and it reveals itself in a large percentage of the fan base.

I was thinking natty light, as in the victors buying beer for the losers.
(i.e. we get free, cheap beer out of pity)

Average results for Jimbo thus far would tell you that a progression back to the mean next year would mean around an 8-4 season…not a national championship

I would love to be wrong, but until I see consistent results in the field I am not going to predict a natty out of thin air

I don't think he should be fired, but 2021 wasn't good enough either. That's two steps back since wining a NY6 bowl. Beating Bama occasionally isn't enough.

Just kidding!!! (We actually DO have a Natty in Golf in the last decade or two I believe...)

If he hits on the OC hire in all the necessary ways (both hiring the right guy AND letting that guy do his job) then I don't see why we couldn't compete for a conference championship (and by default likely a playoff trip) as soon as 2023. The talent is there. If the offense performs well then all of a sudden our defense is good enough.

I think we need to seriously evaluate our strength and conditioning staff.

Statistically yes. The variable is we have so many talented freshman and true freshman playing that we should expect to see an even bigger jump next season.
