It's an old school thing not wearing hats inside. I had a prof at A&M who wouldn't let us wear hats in class. And Deion already said going forward there won't be any hats, hoodies, headphones, etc in meetings. He had a hat on that was given to him for his press conference. I doubt you will see that again from him. I swear some of you are just looking for something for which you can criticize him.AggieArchitect04 said:

If you allow hats, you'll blink and they'll be sporting arm sleeves in cold weather. Give 'em an inch...AggieArchitect04 said:

yep, I can remember in the 70s and 80s it was normal to remove a hat indoors.Know Your Enemy said:It's an old school thing not wearing hats inside. How much you want to bet CU is over .500 next season and contending for the conference title in two years?DallasAg 94 said:
Prior to his arrival, Jackson State was just a place to play football.
Sanders arrived and you can see all of the P5 transfers he took in. He drafted a little better than Jackson State had done, including convincing the #1 player (a CB) in the country to play there.
Sanders had success at Jackson St getting players that were far better than the FCS teams generally get.
He will be looking for a different kind of player for CU than he was Jackson St. The shine and luster of the "I'm coming" schtick will wear off quickly.
God did not ordain him to coach Colorado and his whole "Divine appointment" schtick is offensive.

I don't understand why he's telling them they will not be allowed to wear hats in team meetings while he is wearing a hat in his first team meeting.

You said "to class" but was Deion in class? Did his tell his kids no slides to team meetings? I agree a lot of the stuff he does is completely unnecessary but he does it to set expectations of discipline and how he expects the players to act as they represent him and also the university. I could be wrong but I don't remember hearing about any player arrests or issues like that at Jackson State.EmoSpartan said:
In a speech at Jackson state he tells his team no slides to class, while he is wearing slides lol
He also said no wife beaters, no cutoffs, and they have to sit in front of the class. He wants his players held to a high standard since they represent the football team.
it's dumb, having hat hair is a worse look than wearing a hat.txaggieacct85 said:yep, I can remember in the 70s and 80s it was normal to remove a hat indoors.Know Your Enemy said:It's an old school thing not wearing hats inside. Definitely removed a hat in the MSC
In today's free-agency portal, Sanders could bring in a whole Offense with players with great talent. Look at Kiffin @ Ole Miss and Riley @ USCw.txaggieacct85 said:How much you want to bet CU is over .500 next season and contending for the conference title in two years?DallasAg 94 said:

The msc makes sense, but people don't remove hats at restaurants anymore either because hat hair is a worse look, especially when you're mangy and balding.
