Picking 3 and 4 is tough.... My biggest concern with the top 4 is the potential to give a team the opportunity to win the natty when they did not even win their division. No different than other sports like NFL but at least there is a formula / rules not random who Vegas thinks is the next best team. If we are going to add to the playoffs conference championship has to mean something as does division record.

No way Bama is favored over UM. Bama shouldn't even be ranked ahead of Tenn. Tenn beat them and both have 2 losses. Bama lost to a good Tenn team, a decent LSU team, barely beat us at home (although Young didn't play), barely beat tu. This Bama team just wasn't upper echelon, and no they don't go undefeated in the BDF either. They were inconsistent on offense with WRs that couldn't get separation. D not as good as in years past. It happens. You're just not going to roll out undefeated teams every year.
