The D-lineman that have left early have found some early success and Spiller got drafted in probably the best possible position he was going to, but other than that you are mostly correct. Those who have left early probably shouldn't have done so.

Antonio and Achane are the only 2 that may be drafted in the first 3 to 4 rounds. Any others that decide to leave will be making a big mistake.

They mentioned in the game that he's only given up more than one reception twice this year. If he can run a 4.45 or better he's a top 10 corner which means he goes in the first 4 rounds. He's actually been really solid this year and you saw in games if he went out our pass defense changed significantly.

It's his throw a shoulder at a guy and hope he falls down tackling approach that has been the biggest issue with his game. And that is really disappointing for a big CB.

I doubt anyone entering the transfer portal was thinking "I'm going to do it because this is year 5 of Jimbo's tenure, but if it was year one, I wouldn't do it"

Calzada beat Alabama more recently than any Auburn qb. I'll never understand why so many old internet toughguys feel the need to constantly **** on a guy who gave more of himself to Aggie football, with the injuries to prove it, than most of yall ever will.

Here I am being a grown man keeping up with twitter. But Chris Marshall surprisingly posted something suggested he's staying. If he matures there is talent there. Him moose and Stewart is quite a squad. In some amazing fantasy land Smith stays too

We won't have a mass exodus. That was never likely and even less so after lsu

We will lose some, including a couple we don't want to. But not in mass numbers.

I'd be willing to bet we don't lose all 4 of the suspended players mentioned earlier. I bet we return at least one, maybe 2 of them. Only time will tell. It will be up to them if they haven't already worked their way out. Maybe PJ has.


Jaylon is one of the best cover guys in the nation. I still think he comes back and needs to work on his tackling

I posted on some other thread on the same topic, but Denver Harris is on Insta telling Damieon George to come back to TX. That is the Bama lineman that just entered the portal. Chris Marshall seemed to post he's staying on Twitter. Other than LJ Johnson, i figured those would be the most likely guys to transfer....so it's looking pretty good.

As someone else pointed out, his best chance to play at the next level would probably be to change positions.

If he wants to be an Aggie and possibly play in the SEC then staying would be the right choice.

Totally agree. King doesn't remotely have the arm to make it in the nfl. Not remotely. Changing positions is his only chance.

Except he's not Ryan Tannehill . He's not really a very good athlete. Nice kid, but not a good athlete

It doesn't matter if they are all five stars and they all stay if they're not being developed or used in a scheme that is conducive to their talents. It looks like they are being throttled by crazy coaching or a lack of.

I guess I'd disagree. People might give it another year to see if it's going to turn around. Downward trajectories are harder to sell in business, stocks, whatever.

To what position? There is no position he's going to play in the NFL. He needs to find a place to have some fun, play some, and get a degree and get on with life. He's not going to play here so if he wants to play he should move on. If he wants a degree first, then stay.

Made a few phone calls. Talked a few guys who were contemplating off the ledge.

Would love for Marshall and others to stay. Young guys do some silly things.

Sure, Marshall wasn't fully utilized this year but most freshman aren't. He has legit talent.

There is always a "yet".
