Why? Fans and media made this an "everyone versus Jimbo" environment when his team lost. He's allowed to be defiant when his team beats the #5 team. As a fan, is it so hard to enjoy the win without being miserable for a day or two?

I don't know if it's a NCAA rule or a coache's decision but freshman are not allowed to talk to the press.
To my knowledge that's been the standard for quite a while.
