When did we get a decent defense?
#30 scoring defense. #50 total defense. The former is decent. The latter highlights the offensive woes. We had bad games defensively like Mississippi State and Florida. And mediocre games like South Carolina and Ole Miss.
We have good scoring and passing defense stats mostly because we have 0 offense and a ****ty run defense. Opponents haven't had to throw the ball to beat us.
Ag defense is thrown on 26.5 times per game. The national average is 31.1.
That's about 4 passes per game. That's not that far out of line. The pass defense is good because there is more experience in the secondary. The run defense is lacking mainly because a bunch of freshmen on the D line are getting beat by juniors and seniors.
