I still have my doubts that Jimbo truly relinquishes control. Plus need almost a whole new staff of position coaches.

I think it will be someone with plenty of experience and I think that's a good thing. Jimbo is more likely to trust someone with experience and hopefully that will keep Jimbo from meddling too much with the offense. I doubt Jimbo would trust the 33 year old Riley from TCU.

This would be the best hire and he potentially could be someone that takes the HC gig once Jimbo is gone.

I doubt we fire Durkin so I don't think we get a new DC.

I think we only get a new OC who will run Jimbo's offense.

Jimbo needs young eyes in the booth helping him with play calling. I could see the two game plan for the week and let Riley call plays with Jimbo having the last word.

I doubt there's any change at DC. Has Defense been great this year? Not at all. But it's kept us in games more often than not. Their biggest issue has been spending too much time on the field bc the offense can't stay on the field. On top of that, injuries have cost them a lot of talent and experience as they year has dragged on.

It will be the coaching hire shock of a lifetime if it's Riley. Coaches rarely venture outside their comfort zone and to coaches they have no prior relationship with.

I'm starting to think it's GR and I was dead ass wrong with the above.

I'm thinking it will be Mullen. Pointing in that direction for awhile now.

Again I think I missed this and it's GR.

I do think Briles will be gone after the season one way or another. Could get a G5 head coaching job but also some smoke around South Carolina's OC job, but that was before they just put up 63 on Tennessee lol.

phil longo. unc has had good offenses and two good qbs in a row. their current qb drake maye is a stud and has similar styles to a weigman.

there won't be an OC hire. At best Jimbo will hire an Offensive Consultant, likely Mullen who'll be around a year or two at most
