So Statistically we were very close to South Carolina. Bad Start, Decent Defense. Not enough Offense... Look at SC yesterday. Huge Win for them. But just listened to the SEC Dudes. Big Questions for SC earlier this year. They didn't understand the offense and their O-Line was terrible. Yesterday, Rattler was & HAD Time, going to go to his 3rd option and more.

Arkansas Offensive Line Played Well. They made big gains off of RPO's. Their Defense might have given up a bunch of yards to Ol' Miss, but they stopped them in the Red Zone and Created Turnovers.
Ags - U Mass -- Weather Crappy, lots of pressure to Do Well. Lots of Kids Missing, but....
There is a common theme. This time of year THOSE Offensive Lines improved. Created lanes for the run game. We have not seemed to improve. Hard to criticize the running backs when we don't have lanes. I don't recall seeing any lineman pulling to go seal off a hole. Hell I barely saw any holes.
It doesn't seem to matter if we put receivers against the sidelines to draw the secondary away from any run support or we try 2 TE's. Our Blocking Schemes have been terrible.
I know we have had to swap out a bunch on the O-line, but the last O-Line that performed well it took them a couple of years to play together. But those kids were getting criticized as having poor elements of performance. Bad Pad Levels, slow hips, poor footwork. You name it, this Zoo criticized their talent.
This O-Line has not had that level of criticism. Is the talent level better? or are they so bad, no one bothers to go there. Maybe everyone, decided not to hurt the feeling of these Ags. But I doubt that!
I didn't expect an all SEC Line coming into the 1st few games, but I have seen very little improvement across the board. If you want to criticize the Passing Game, start at the protection. If you want to criticize the Run Game, start at the Holes (or lack there of.) If you want to criticize the Defense, look at the number of 3 & Outs, 'y'all get back out there.'
Me, I will always wonder how good or bad this team is, while wondering why we had little or NO Offensive Line Improvements.
