Re Mullen, I think he'd be a solid hire. He seems to excel at scheming to the strengths of his players.

No, and I wouldn't expect him to be the one to announce it.

Changing OCs is a pretty major action though, and says a lot on its own.

He's a studio analyst. How much do you think they make? He would probably be paid at least 3 to 5 times as much as the OC at A&M.

And perhaps he likes coaching.

Not if Jimbo didn't at least want to talk to a handful of different candidates.

Also, its been stated by multiple media members that Jimbo is giving up the play calling. Including Luicci.

If a hire were about to be made, some on here might know about it and begin hinting at it. Not happened yet. Some on here are doing a good job of keeping up with the information that is available out there and is being shared. Vander is one of them.

We should hopefully have an answer by Friday but you never know. If it last into the middle half of next week I would start being a little concerned.

With all the talk I think it will be between Riley, Longo or Mullen.

There are a couple of "secret" names so it's tough to say


I do love all 5 names I've heard though so I think we are in good shape to have a much improved offense next year.
