Their little faces turning from hope in August to despair in November. Can Bjork set up some grief counseling sessions for the little ones?

We don't. We pretend like it isn't happening and don't speak about. Like that alcoholic son who keeps wrecking his car, but we continue to buy him a new one.

See the Bidens for a better reference.

Just be honest... this is slightly worse than usual but is generally what you can expect should you choose to invest emotionally in Aggie football. A wise person would run.

Most of the youngsters don't believe me when I tell them that A&M used to be awesome at football.
I tell the kids about the legend of Sirr Parker and the Wrecking Crew.

Perhaps this can be a teaching lesson for kids. Money doesn't necessarily buy results. And that the most expensive you might not be the best choice.

Life is full of set backs and disappointments!! You have to learn to accept loss before becoming a Champion! Use that negative energy and make it into something positive! At the end of the day, there are a lot of things that are out of your control especially a football game. Get over it, there will be better times with Aggie Football.

There was a time when a season like this and the losses we have endured would ruined my weekend or longer.
Thank goodness I "matured" and long ago came to the realization that A&M football is never going get it done regardless of the coaches or the players recruited.
I can now watch a game like we just had against Florida and see that nothing has changed or improved over all my years associated w/ A&M. Some good games or years only to be followed by disappointment.
With all A&M has and has to offer at the end of the day we're just an average football program.
That's been the case in my 50+ years w/ A&M football. Sad but an undeniable fact
I just watch now for the entertainment and enjoyment if there is any.
I'll always be a supporter of A&M and watch or attend if possible, but no longer do I get emotional...win or lose.

Well said. I certainly agree in principle but I would expand on your ongoing plan for supporting the Aggies. My Dad took me to the SMU game in Dallas, circa 1945. Before the game, he took me to the Adolphus hotel where the team was staying. I remember him pointing out a few of the Aggie players.
That is about 77 years of remembering Aggie football, good or frustrating. In short, my love for FTA football takes on a feeling that I do not fully understand and don't want to lose. BTHO next 3 opponents. Btw, this post was not to set myself as unique among Aggies.

Yes. But that was before the era of overpaying for the most expensive coach in the country and message board reporters who blow smoke up the fan base to fan ridiculous expectations.
