Part of the issue has been your insistence- since entering the SEC- that y'all were LSU's equal, or even better. You completely ignored the cluture shift in Baton Rouge post-Saban, and just assumed 1995 LSU and 2012+ weren't 2 totally different programs...even up to 2019.
It's been entertaining, but glad to see this balloon finally burst. Good luck on this...mess.
LSU is a school held together by duct tape, we are not equal to lsu, we are a better school than lsu. With the right coach we will own lsu, heck lsu lost twice to dumbo lol
See this right here is why y'all get picked on. The ignorance and irrational refusal of the Aggie fanbase to educate themselves about conference opponents is just mind boggling.
Let me back up and introduce myself. I'm a mid 40s LSU die-hard alumni and season ticket holder in Football and Baseball. I love traditions and history of all our conference members.
One of my favorite memories since A&M joined the SEC was watching your band in 2013 march into Tiger Stadium like soldiers in the cold rain. It was impressive as hell and kind of intimidating to be honest. ha
No other visiting band has done that in my memory.
Now let me get to the point. We're not held together by duct tape. LSU is one of the most valuable and profitable Football programs in the country. We are one of the few schools that kept all of our sports staff employed during Covid without external loans or state money.
On the topic of being a better school, you're absolutely right. My son graduates high school in May and he's applying to A&M Air Force ROTC. LSU is his backup school. Anyone with a brain knows a degree from A&M is much better than LSU. And mind you, we live 12 miles from LSU. lol.
I'm proud of him and hopeful he gets a scholarship/aid to attend A&M.
We'll be at the LSU game in a few weeks and touring the campus on Monday. I even warned him he better not wear a hat in The Memorial Student Center. See how I know that about your rich military history?
Let's work to educate ourselves about each other's school, history, traditions, etc.
