You realize in real programs that have built depth, they don't usually rely on true freshman even if they are 5 stars. If they do actually play a big role they are surrounded by great talent and not relied on to carry their team.

We have a ton of taken that is very young and being poorly coached. If a lot of these guys leave you will see many of them turn into great players elsewhere.

I'm sure some player(s) may transfer, but you will "hear" rumors about any/all of them from now until next year because the teams that couldn't land them initially still want them.

I just hope we can lock down the majority of our defense and then get someone legitimate in place along with a real play caller when we make the OC/DC plays this offseason.

Let them go, because they don't want to be here anyway. Any good coach can take a 3 star and coach him up to 4-5 star potential.

We will lose guys to the portal. Everybody does. The key is will Jimbo use the portal to replace them? He doesn't like the portal but I hope he uses it next year. If he doesn't, we will be in a real bad position going forward.
