Connor's decision making ability and then able to get the ball to said decision is light years ahead of max and King.
Sometimes you don't even need to make a great read, you just need to be decisive and commit. Sounds like Weigman just makes up his mind and flings it without second guessing. Even a completion to the third best option is better than no completion at all.

One frustrating thing with Weigman is that first scramble on that last drive was wide open if he doesn't trip over his own feet.

Being able to run the ball has helped the passing game. CW missed on a couple and nvr should have thrown that pass on 4th down (to wrong Wr 5 yds back).

How many time this season have we heard McGee say "The ball should be out already" durning Film Room?
A bunch of times for both King and Johnson. Seemed like a reoccurring theme of that segment.

Actually Ole Miss' defense is serviceable, it's not terrible or good but it's serviceable. It's middling. This team has struggled with far worse defenses; App State anyone?

Might be a bad Ole Miss defense (I believe they are) But still they've only given up more than 28 twice all year. So our pace isn't all that bad. Especially since their offense has chewed up a fair amount of clock.
