I remember about 15 years ago, if I wanted to see where the Ags ranked, I usually had to turn to the Bottom 10 ranking. Things we're looking up when we disappeared from the Bottom 10. Things began to get serious when we could watch our team climb the list of "Others Receiving Votes". It was a great day when we finally climbed into the Top 25. If we ever managed to get past 20 for a week or 2, that was an incredible season.

I had hoped those days were behind us. But today, we made it back into the Bottom 10 (and very well deserved). This was a painful memory.

Time will only tell if this awful season is an aberration, a blip caused by a litany of factors and misfortunes. Or if this is us reverting to the mean, that the past few years of seeming to be on the precipice of success (without actually accomplishing anything of meaning) was the aberration.

I friggin HATE being back in the Bottom 10. Thankfully the author was relatively kind to us.
