Taking Kids to their first Aggie football game and looking for parking. Thinking about the Central Campus Garage as it is about the same distance to Kyle from there vs walking to Reed Area Lots (or further). Also thought it would be a good experience for the kids to see some of the campus and then walk through Aggie Park area.

Is this a good idea? How is traffic leaving a game?

Any tips/tricks? It seems cheap at around $34 for that game day.

Or where should try and find a spot?

It is where I park most games.

I like it. I don't think the walk is far and the traffic is not anywhere near as bad as other places I have parked leaving the game.

Thanks! Just making sure I wasn't missing something.

It is pretty cheap compared to some of the costs for other lots on the ticket exchange board.

How is the walk back after a night game? Lots of student crazy shenanigans? Or just lots of people getting back to parked cars?

We parked here for the Miami game for some of the same reasons you mentioned as far as wanting the kids to see more of campus and it worked well. It gave us a centralized place to stash the kids' stuff just before stepoff. We kept a cooler in the car with snacks/drinks throughout the day beforehand.

The walk back was pretty quick and traffic out of the garage and off campus down the main drive was surprisingly not bad.

Make sure you park on the down portion of the helix for easy exit. Take Bizzell to New Main, left on Texas, right on Lincoln Ave, right on University out to TX-6.

Allsome, thanks!

Ole Miss game starts at 6:30. When does March in /step off start? Or where is best place to see all of that?

Side question, if we get there early enough, like before lunch, is there an easy place to eat lunch that is walking distance or maybe should Uber? Or will things just be too crowded before a game?

Or tailgates with food? Can you buy plates?

Stepoff hour and half before kickoff. 2 hrs before kickoff you can watch Spirit walk as the team leaves busses and walks to Kyle. There is also a kids yell practice just prior to that

Lots of food trucks between Kyle and MSC area as well.

That has been my go to parking spot. It's not bad to get out of after the game. It's close enough to Kyle, affords the family an easy route to a spot for March-In or to take a campus tour, and is not nearly as crowded as other spots.

But this year I'm parking in lot 100m to be within close walking distance to my sister/brother-in-law's tailgate.

Been taking this route to/from games for over 10 years and nothing beats it. Can leave me house (east side of Boonville road) 40 minutes before kickoff and be in my seats with a couple minutes to spare before team entrance

I have parked in UCG for the last 5 years and PA19 for several years before that. This is my first year to park in CCG and it is an easy walk. So far the traffic out of CCG has been much better than UCG and PA19.

In previous years, post game I would get to my car much quicker but would seem to sit in traffic longer. UCG does not empty too quickly and there is still a lot of pedestrian traffic around UCG.
