I have no clue how they don't even look at targeting there. That was ****ing terrible. Miss two calls on one play. One a huge point of emphasis for players safety.

Am I deaf? Didn't the ref say the runner was down before the ball came loose?
And then said the call stands after the review?

I guess I do not understand Targeting rules.
I do. It wasn't targeting and it was a fumble. I feel like I'm watching a different game that the board. Lol.

Doesn't have to be helmet to helmet he launched head first to the head and neck area at least it should have been reviewed.

The fact that they didn't review it is baffling. Also, the rule specifically says if it's questionable, error on the side of targeting for that specific rule.

But all you have to do is catch wide open pass and you win

That's one way to look at it. A wrong way, but certainly one way.

Texas Lives Rent free on this Board! It's Sad you guys are so worried about the other state school. Especially after the egg the Aggies dropped at home vs App State.
Ask yourself this, if it was us that did that hit would it be called targetting? We all know the answerBrazosDog02 said:Bob Loblaws Law Blog said:BrazosDog02 said:MSCAg said:

It's the way you look at it when you don't have a dog in the fight. It's what we call impartiality. I get the emotions from the board but it was not targeting and it was a Clear fumble. They replayed both over and over frame by frame. I suggest you watch that because people here sound stupid.

Anyone who thinks that was targeting is letting your hate blind you.
Hit his shoulder pad
If exact same play happened in A&M game and A&M defended made the hit this board would be 100% .. that's a clean football hit
