based on some of those passes, hitting several birds is the only thing that makes sense.

Wow, I think he did hit a bird. His underthrown pass to Stewart on the seam route at 13:00 in 2q. It's hard to tell, but Stewart might have made the catch had it not hit the bird. Still not a great throw, but wow, hit a bird.

Should have taken the dove to the sidelines, thrown some Italian dressing on it, wrapped it in bacon, carried it outside to a tailgate, thrown it on the grill, wait 5 minutes...profit. Really show Levy how concessions should be done. Organic, free range, bacon-wrapped grilled dove. Levy would charge 10 bucks per bird.

I kid I kid of course, harvesting and consuming legal game either in or out of season by an unlawful means (in this case a football strike) is not permitted and is a ticketable offense.....

It was a dove. TPWD is investigating. I've heard King is temporarily suspended pending the investigation result.

He was definitely under the limit

Based on the sentiment of this board on King's throwing ability, he didn't hit the bird. The bird hit the ball.

Hard to tell if the ball hits the bird. Not sure how the app st player would be able to pick it up if it wasn't injured, as I'd expect it to just fly away.

Fast forward to around the 54:35 mark to see the play.

If you pause around 54:56 and 54:57 you can see the app st player bending down to pick up the bird, but he goes off camera pretty quickly. You also hear some crowd cheers whenever he manages to catch it.

Surprised they didn't have another angle and do a little mini story on it after a commercial break... "take a look at this weird series of events that unfolded earlier in the game.."

poor bird was just trying to feed his bird family.

Oddly enough, this was our best offensive drive. Maybe we should release a few birds throughout the game.
