This is the biggest loss ever IMO, considering our ranking, the new stadium, and the millions spent on the program since after the stadium. This is an SEC earthquake. TAMU cannot ignore this on Monday. They have to do something huge- and that should start with firing Jimbo and benching King on Monday. This is beyond embarrassing.

Arkansas state stung a lot, but we didn't have preseason #6 expectations to go with it.

1990 grad and this far more embarrassing than any loss I endure since graduation. This team has no spine!!!!!

But after a quarter of a century, this loss (even compared to the 77-0) feels really deflating,

Those people have nothing on the folks who are so emotionally invested in this team they will have a bad day/week/fall because of how these kids play a game. Imagine being in an actual bad mood because of this.

Add some context to the OU game. It was 77-0 in the third quarter. They ran the clock the rest of the game, and Stoops had his players try not to score.
Given the context of all the losses, yesterday's was the worst. There are factors among the other losses (and UCLA '17) that separate them from App State.Pro Ag said:

Year 5. Consistent top 5 recruiting classes. At home. G5 opponent who is good but in no way shape or form should beat you. Getting your ass kicked in front of your home crowd and having zero answer to any of it.
I won't say worst ever, but App State is the worst in a very long time.

And while it may hurt to say the horns looked pretty good yesterday. Ewers is incredibly talented and the offensive scheme is effective.

We aren't a #6 team. That number is a meaningless preseason rank that means absolutely nothing. We have a not very good team that played bad and lost to another not very good team. Not even close to the worst loss ever.
Actually, I remember losing to Rice in 1974 when Rice had total offense of -98 yards. The only coach we've had since the Bear where weren't giving up at least 7 before kickoff was Sherrill. With Bellard we were giving up 14 but Jimbo may exceed him.
The "77-0" game was actually forfeited by zero-u due to ineligible players, via NCAA sanctions.

Do current football programs of high paid coaches and oppressed athletes care about what the fans do……..

Loss to Baylor in 2004 was pretty bad.
As an Aggie and a U of Michigan fan, I can perversely say this. How awesome would it be to be App State? Somebody needs to work up a Rudy-esque script for this pronto.
