Because the offense can't hold TOP. Look at the numbers in the first half, defense is gassed

One could also argue hard to get offensive rhythm when the D is on the field so long.

Point is both sides of football have been horrible today.

No one is blaming the defense, but making excuses for them is weak. This is App St, not Bama. This D should be able to prevent 17 play drives and make plays against this offense regardless of what the O is or isn't doing.
