I would rather listen to the back up beeper than the "Cock a Doddle do" at South Carolina. Fayetteville is a nice college town with great scenery. Better than the suburban blah of Arlington. I don't think that Jerry mentioned that it would cost at least $50 to park.AgFormerlyInIrving said:

When we signed the deal with Arkansas we were in the Big 12 need something to show we could be compete with SEC. That did not work out so well. Also I think that the "Town and Gown" relations between A&M and B/CS were not that good. We needed the money, since we get much less in TV money than Texas, OU and Nebraska. At the time Jerry World was the new shiny toy, not the spirit killing Death Star it is now.
The good thing about the game is that it gives the Corps a chance to have a parade and Corps trip. (Unless the kickoff is at 11:00am) There could be another Corps trip in Austin, but I highly doubt the Athletic Department will give 2,500 tickets to the cadets, especially if the sips are as horsey about visiting fans than they are now. The Alabama band said thanks but no thanks to going to Austin when they found out that their seats were in the upper deck of the end zone.
