I think the refs are going to have to address the fact that yes the defense is allowed to sub but they're not allowed to walk/jog off the field to waste time

I want to think this is Jimbo being loyal to King and giving King his chance in a game we should win. I have no problems with King getting the start. I'm sure (?) all QB options going forward remain on the table. This situation will sort itself out.

They're going to have to create a separate timer for how long the defense has to get their sub on and off after the offense makes a sub
