Don't particularly care about any numbers. If the offense looks good, limits mistakes, controls the game and shows some explosive plays... We'll all be able to see it.

Don't expect a huge number of passes. Our defense will shut down SHSU and we will be able to run the ball very effectively.
I would like to see Evan Stewart have some big plays and find out more about our RB depth.
I think King will have 100 plus rushing and 250 passing if the plays long enough. Hoping for 200 total yards from Achane and maybe even another 100 from the backup RBs.
Should be fun to watch against a pretty good but overmatched team

Haynes just needs to lead. Offense must be productive, efficient and mistakes should be small and few.

Offense should average 500 yards/game and 40+ points/game under Haynes in the first 2 games and Haynes should account for no more than 2 turnovers. If he does this, I think we're in good shape going into the Miami game.

I only want to see 100 plus rushing if they are collected in gashes 15-20 at a time. If he doubles Kent St output and has 10 rushes for 44 yards without 500+ passing then I am concerned

I want these stats to happen in the first half. If we aren't up 3.5 TDS at the half of each of these games, I'll be very concerned about Miami

I'm not that interested in stats. Sorry sabermetrics fans.

For me to be comfortable with any QB, I need to see quick, correct decisions. I need to see accuracy in throwing. I need to see the ball protected.

Excellent running is a bonus.

Rah-Rah leadership is a bonus (but some player needs to fulfill that role).

2 full quarters of PT for CW
(Max is capable, but not the future of the program. He is there to be the ultimate back up if all else fails, throw a TD to his brother against UMass, and learn how to coach QB's from Jimbo ...planning for when he is done with his playing days)

Seeing plenty of play by Max and Connor (meaning blowouts and getting more experience in Jimbo's pro-style offense) and no injuries to QBs or significant players in RB or WR corps (experience depth is lacking in both areas).

Wins are all that matter.
