Kid got body slammed and broke a leg in the process. Had NOTHING with running. Nor did we ever see enough of him to see anything JFF reckless.

Maybe if he added 50 lbs he wouldnt have been picked up and a DL and slammed.

It was horrible bad luck and a strange way to break your leg. Dont be ******s

It was never a battle. Fisher always knew. Just wanted all the QBs to work off their asses and compete at highest level.

No surprise here. Jimbo makes a choice and will keep with it to the last breath. Just look at his choice of Mond and Calzada. Jimbo chose King last year and he'll stay with him as long as he's physically able to play.

My hope is that King can win for us, 'cause Jimbo's too stubborn to change once he's made up his mind.

Really hate that the other two might realize that, and bolt for the portal.

I hope he's gotten better accuracy and durability. We all know max has already faced SEC opponents and was very consistent all year with only 6 interceptions in and he had a ****ty oline but orchestrated an ass whopping on our defense while playing on the road at Kyle field .

Lol this is vs Kent state ….let's see that against Arky or Bama, probably results in another cast. I want to see him connect downfield.

That being said, wasn't Johnny injured 3 or 4 times when he was on campus? Nothing that kept him out permanently, but I remember a knee injury in mizzou, a shoulder dislocation in Auburn, and a broken finger that was nagging him at the end of his last season?

Yeah, he had a few injuries, none of which were too serious, thankfully.

If I recall, the shoulder dislocation was on a play where he got too full of himself and tried to take on the defender head on, and got the worst of it.

The Mizzou knee injury was not a big hit, but the Mizzou defender rolled his body onto Johnny's knee, twisting it.

Don't recall off-hand what happened on the finger injury.

Regardless, the dude lead the SEC in rushing, as a small QB, and somehow avoided major injuries. He knew how to avoid big hits, most of the time. Hopefully King does the same.
