Yes, their QB is rated very high and Walter(Nolan)'s younger brother just transferred into The Woodlands as a new OL for them.

Sunshine is still highly recruited at The Woodlands.

Lots of talent remains at NS. Tiki H son is a backup RB I think (and he's pretty good).

This is what happens when everyone playing is a "coach on the field"

North Shore first half was dominant. Scored at will with a well balanced attack. The W first half looked like Spavs O without JFF. The W QB was up and down. His deep ball was effective only a couple times. Was impressed with W second half effort. Ran the ball better and defense forced punts. North Shore is great. Not ready to write off the W yet.

The Woodlands is generally not athlete poor. There are lots of really good athletes that come through TWHS. This years group is young and they're not on Northshore's level at this stage, but neither is most anyone else.

Mabry is a really good prospect. He's already bigger than almost any NFL QB and has great arm strength. He's improved his accuracy year-over-year. Tonight he saw essentially a college level secondary and he had some difficulty identifying the tighter windows. North shore was very disciplined and prepared for The Woodlands offense. It's a good opportunity for Mabry to see what this level looks like and get better from it.

There are some bigger NFL QB's, but not many.

He's a legitimate 6'5" 235 lb. He's a really big kid and very little bad weight.

His brother is an offensive tackle at Cal.

On that side of Houston, kids start playing ball at age 5.

They don't recruit, they don't have to.

Allen is losing to Bosco 52-7 after 3. I know Bosco is the #1 team in the country, but Allen has more students than some colleges.

52-14 final. Bosco has to play Mater Dei at Mater Dei this year. Hate to say this since I've lived in Tx since '81 and played at Mater Dei and currently am on the Alumni Association board at MD, Tx needs to give it up; don't play MD or Bosco; you can't touch them.

Those teams are bought and paid for all star teams. It really on the same playing field.

High school teams that fly around the country to play other schools should be banned. Its high school sports, not college

IMG lost to Miami Central tonight. Central is a public school but they play a national schedule. IMG can recruit with anyone, but their results don't always match up with the talent.

Oh yeah, Mater Dei flew to Las Vegas and came from 14 down to beat Bishop Gorman 27-24. If your school was flying to play somewhere you'd get jazzed too. I hear where you are coming from but there's nothing wrong with it.
