Personally I see King getting the nod.

Does coach meet with media today or tomorrow? Seems like these things usually leak as soon as the players find out.

Haynes Johnson or Max King.

I'm gonna guess several guys get time under center against SHSU and one shouldn't read too much into who plays in which quarter.

QB1 will get at least the whole first half. Or at least he should. If we are rotating QBs throughout the game I am going to take that as a bad sign. If we do that then there are two ways to interpret it. It either means that two or all three guys have been so good that a decision can't be made or that one guy hasn't been good enough to set himself apart. I generally interpret it as the latter.

I've heard some rumors that Eli Weigman is making a last minute push to be QB1.

I'm sure more than 1 QB will see the field but given Jimbo's past where he seems to make a decision and go with it, I see the starter playing until mop up time....If we never get to mop up time vs. SHSU I'm sure Jimbo will continue to start the same guy while we all complain on here about why one of the other 2 on the bench is better.

Out of all the possible scenarios this is what I'd place my money on.

Agree with this. Jimbo has shown that when he chooses a starter then they get all the reps until mop up time.

Maybe not publicly, but the team will know and then it'll get leaked. QB1 will get all the normal game-week reps with the 1s. I'm sure there is a practice period where QB2 gets a few snaps with the 1s every week as well, but it will be very clear who is QB1 based on how game-week practice reps are distributed.

The starter will certainly play at least the first 3 quarters, probably deep into the 4th.
TexAgs will certainly complain that QB2 didn't get enough PT.

Jimbo isn't interested in placating the fans by letting us evaluate each QB with equal reps. Jimbo has seen the reps and needs to prepare QB1 for SEC play. He will stick with the starter until/unless he gives him reason to bring in the backup.

Man he was such a tool. One of the biggest stains in Aggie athletic history. A good case could have been made to fire him after season 1. There was absolutely no reason to bring him back after the debacle 2005 season. Absolutely horrible administration during that time.
