Hearing some rumors we might know QB1 today or tomorrow..
We'll see how true they are.
Personally I see King getting the nod.

Jimbo meets with media today at 2 pm according the Texas A&M Football FB page.BeastmodeAg said:
Looks like he met last Thursday so it may be tomorrow.
Does he have a Sherman newsletter? Or was that Fran? I can't remember anymore. Oh well, be of good cheer.itsyourboypookie said:
Jimbo told me last night.
Sorry you're poor
Very likely could also be Max Haynes...and don't sleep on King Connerrootube said:
Haynes Johnson or Max King.
I'm sure more than 1 QB will see the field but given Jimbo's past where he seems to make a decision and go with it, I see the starter playing until mop up time....If we never get to mop up time vs. SHSU I'm sure Jimbo will continue to start the same guy while we all complain on here about why one of the other 2 on the bench is better.TX_Aggie37 said:
QB1 will get at least the whole first half. Or at least he should. If we are rotating QBs throughout the game I am going to take that as a bad sign. If we do that then there are two ways to interpret it. It either means that two or all three guys have been so good that a decision can't be made or that one guy hasn't been good enough to set himself apart. I generally interpret it as the latter.
LOL all I know is if Max wins the job (which honestly I hope is not the case), I will only refer to him on here as Maximus Johnson. We all dream of having a Maximus Johnson.2017TXAggie said:
I've heard some rumors that Eli Weigman is making a last minute push to be QB1.

Out of all the possible scenarios this is what I'd place my money on.
This would be so wonderful.2017TXAggie said:

The starter will certainly play at least the first 3 quarters, probably deep into the 4th.TX_Aggie37 said:

I'm sure there will be plenty of that from others as well. Someone needs to be Beezelbug's advocate.alamogeorge said:

Fran had the "insider news letter". It came to light mid-season and he resigned after the Texas game, which he won that year.
"On September 27, 2007, Franchione discontinued selling a secret email newsletter to athletic boosters who paid $1,200 annually for team information that Franchione had refused to release to the public. After Franchione led the Aggies to a 3830 victory over the 13th-ranked Texas Longhornshis second win over the Longhorns in a rowhe announced his resignation in the postgame press conference. In the press conference, after he discussed the game, he read out loud a farewell letter that he had prepared beforehand. His last words were "Thank you, and gig 'em." Franchione immediately left the press conference as A&M athletic director Bill Byrne started to speak, with friends and family members following him."
