In all seriousness, just change the name to Texas, and keep everything else the same. A team coming off of an 8-4 season, replacing a qb among other things. We'd scream to the hilltops about how overrated Texas is. This isn't exactly a horrible take, I'm not sure of the #6 ranking myself. Perhaps later in the year, but this can certainly be questioned without taking it as this huge diss.
The thing is, you never hear that (except from Aggies and maybe OU fans) . They are perpetually back. We do need to win to prove them wrong (quit snatching defeat from the jaws of victory every year) but let's not pretend that many other schools are overrated and yet not held under the same scrutiny in many case
My argument is that it's really not far-fetched, I think most who follow college football could see this as overrated. We beat one good team last year, and we're replacing a lot. I just don't see the need to get fired up over it. You will know before September is over if #6 is too high. If we're there sitting at 4-0, nobody's arguing, 3-1, 2-2, they were most likely right. I'm not gonna sit here and say I know boo about Miami, but I do know about Arky, that's probably gonna be a tough game.
