Only 12 more days until the 12th Man opens the season behind their Texas A&M football team on Kyle Field against Sam Houston State University.

This has the opportunity to be the program changing year in the Jimbo Fisher Era.

Plenty of veteran players to go along with some younger talent and an incredibly deep freshman class. With the Aggie fans assistance, the crowd should really have an opportunity to effect outcomes in close SEC games later in the season. And continue to protect home field advantage to the utmost.

A 10 - 2 season or better, along with successful recruiting weekends, starting with Miami on Sept 17th, can continue the influx of Top 5 talent on the same footing as the Top 5 programs. I'm confident that Coach Fisher sees this as the base for years of successful SEC and CFP competition to come. This team should surprise some in the football world but they will not surprise me. I'm looking forward to an exciting, successful season.

Pivotal year for Aggie football. I am really anticipating the arrival of Sept 3rd. And for the 12th Man to come reigning down on the Bearkats.

Agree, this is the year we have to make our mark. Yes, we still have gaps and question marks, but have had the time players, resources to culminate into something that shows definitive proof we are in the upper echelon. And if we don't, then I regret to say the nay-sayers will be right. Should make for good TV.

Gotta win at least 10 this year!
