You sure about this? Seems like he was a leader/instigator in the Sully stuff recently. I would count that as boat-rocking.Definitely Not A Cop said:Divining Rod said:
First, whether you believe or not, i had no idea how whether or if he even played another game when i checked back on this thread for the first time in a week.
Second, I see all you do is look at a stat line. So, once again I'll tell you why I think he's not a goid NFL QB. But i want YOU to respond with particulars of why he IS!
A. His decision making is bad. in fact, REALLY bad. both from a speed recognition factor and a tendency to make bad choices- throwing balls up fir grab in critical situations, throwing to the "wrong" man or trying to make a particular kind of throw where he either diesnt have the ability or the liklihood of success.
B. Accuracy problems. He isfine with quick slants and short over the middle wherehe has a direct line to a WR right in front of his vision. And he can occasionally (rarely) throw other nice passes, but in general he overthrows receivers, throws a lot of "medicine" balls where he leads the WR into potential calamity, and has shiwn ZERO potential to make "all the throws" ( or even HALF the throws) required of NFL QBs.
C. Combination of the two above that leads to a number of really "WTF" bad throws in every game- some while not even under pressure.
That will NOT keep you in the league long. Have you visited various Viking fan sites to see what THEY think about him.? People that have no dog in the hunt (or clue) about his A&M history. You might find it eye opening.
Now, tell me Mr. Not A Cop, why you think he is a goid NFL QB.
Now you are shifting the goal posts. First you said you didn't think he would get the second string spot based on his performance last week, now you want me to prove that he's a "good" QB after you were shown your take was ridiculous and you disappeared.
Mond can have a quiet NFL QB as a backup on a lot of teams. He's a dedicated worker, he can be great on some days, and he's not going to rock the boat where you have to worry about his personality causing drama on your team. He has never had injury issues even with him sacrificing his body with his play style. He can make any throw on the field. Does he do it often or consistently? No, which is why he will probably never be a starter. But he will find a spot to land and play a few games every couple of years on an NFL team if he continues to grow like we have seen so far.
I can't believe you are still arguing that he looked worse than Mannion last week. It's a dumb argument man, just let it go. You were wrong, when you got called out on it, you said anyone who disagreed with you must not have watched the game, because the announcers agreed with you. Then when it was pointed out that the announcers did not say that, you vanished until he played bad and are now trying to change what the conversation was originally about.
