Anybody else have FuboTV?

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I ordered it about 2 months ago, after finally getting away from DirecTV.

With the Elite Package, I get everything that I want to watch. Initially, I had included the add-on for Showtime, Starz, and Epix, which costs $19.99. It took my bill to $108.24/mo. After removing that, my payment is $87.10/mo.

TBH, I am surprised I haven't seen more about FuboTV on the interwebs and via TV commercials, as it is an awesome service and channel lineup.

I'm interested to see the thoughts of other folks who have made the leap and chosen FuboTV. TIA!

It does not have ESPNu or ESPN News, unless you pay an additional 8-9 bucks a month. So you'd probably be good for most of the year, but there's a 30-40% chance that UMass game gets stuck on ESPNu instead of SEC Network

We had it for years, but finally dropped it last week after fighting buffering issues (not related to Internet speed) that made recorded shows unwatchable. After doing some digging around, it seems more common than I realized and affected live TV for some. On to YTTV, for now.

YTTV is superior and it's not even close. Never have had an issue getting games or watching recordings for many years now

That is just about the same as I pay for Comcast. I have to use Comcast for internet, so why would I go with this Fufu thing, rather than just stick to the devil I know?

Actually, I have all of the ESPN channels, including ESPNU and news, included in the $87 and change.

As far as the buffering issue that somebody else mentioned, I have fiber from Frontier (Brownwood) and I have no issues. I have 500Mb synchronous and I've had no problem at all. I pay $49.99 for Frontier.

I also get the Astros because it comes with AT&T Sportsnet as well.

Lastly, I tried YTTV first and I didn't care for it as much.

That's good. I think it comes down to which channels we get beyond the sports. At least it was for me. I liked the FUBOTV lineup a little better, based on the channels we watch.

I liked the Fubo features and recording interface better than YTTV, but that doesn't matter when recordings won't play. And like I said, the buffering is unrelated to bandwidth - it seems to be a lag issue on Fubo's end.

I've had FuboTV for a couple of years. Initially got it because they have ATT SportsNet SW for all the Astros games.

The main downside to not having those two ESPN channels is that - I can't remember which one, but one of our games that went into OT got moved to ESPN News as the alternate channel continuing the OT feed and so we missed the end of the game.

Gawd I was angry. Everything else about it has been good but I wouldn't keep Fubo if it weren't for the Astros.

There is a 0% chance it will be on ESPNU. ESPN already tabbed it as our one annual game to be featured exclusively on ESPN+. So get ready for a wave of posts of people asking about how to sign up for it and what "channel" is that. Every SEC team will have one game put on ESPN+ this year.

We've had Fubo for about 6 months now and have really enjoyed it. There are a few technical difficulties but it's worked well for the most part. I really like their user interface where you can arrange the channels how you'd like, and they group the channels by type which seems really intuitive.

It does not carry TBS or TNT which I found out the hard way during March madness.

You aren't joking. Can't wait for all the posts about "incant find it in the guide" or "what channel is espn+ on direct tv"

It's amazing to me how many people on this site don't know how to watch football

....until Youtube and ESPN have a contract disagreement and you lose half your channels instantly like happened last year

I like the interface on YTTV better, but Fubo has a good lineup of channels and so far haven't had any of them randomly dropped like YTTV did in the couple of years I had it.

The good news is that with streaming, you can drop one and add another inside of about 30 seconds.

Does it get the Bally regional channels? Rangers/Mavs are hard to find outside DirecTV

As much as I don't love Google, YouTubeTV is simply a superior product to FUBO. I wanted to like FUBO, but the UI is clunky in comparison, and it doesn't have ESPNU.

I had FUBOtv until recently. It did not get the Bally channels. The rate was high enough that I switched back to Spectrum and get the Bally channel for basically the same price.

I pay $200/mo for Xfinity tv and internet. $35 of that is for a box on 3 additional TVs, which I could cut and use the Roku interface of I remotely enjoyed the Internet TV experience. I also have showtime and Encore.

Your $130 include taxes and fees, or you just quoting the base rate? We have as family of 4 watching different stuff regularly. To me, user interface (especially channel surfing between games!), guide implementation, sports app built into box, etc. Are well worth the extra each month, although I'm not sure it's any different apples to apples.

Add in I don't have the technical issues discussed here.

Don't know, all I watch is college football. The rest of the year, we unsubscribe.

No, FuboTV is the only way to go if you cut the cable and live in Houston to watch the Astros and the Aggies.

Doesn't look like YTTV has ATTSportsNet. So there goes your Astros option. Maybe take a look at DirecTV stream, I know it has ATTSN on the choice package and up

I had no issues watching the Ags on YTTV. Astros were more hit and miss though, mostly caught them on the MLB channel.

Hell, every time I try to watch them on MLB it's blacked out.
