We gonna start a Layne's vs Cane's thread today too?
I live in Kyle and even we are getting one. And also my town was named after the same family as Kyle Field was. So... I basically win...

Firmly convinced the waffle house thing is a forced bit/meme like "vore" and that people who think they want a waffle house are just going along with the crowd. Nobody choose to go to waffle house when they first leave the house or bar. You end up at waffle house.
People can get a late-night anywhere except taco cabana, okay? They come to waffle house for the atmosphere and the attitude. It's about fun.
Has it become a meme? Yeah. Is it all in good fun? Yeah. I think it's funny as I can't remember the last time I've ever set foot in one. Hopefully they do end up with one in CSTAT.
