Lane is going to be much better than many think if I had to guess. He was solid as a rFR. Took a step back year with injury. He's healthier now and as experienced as they come. Not highly rated, but battle tested and solid. The exact guy that Arkansas or miss state shreds our defense with and we can't understand why.

I think Lane is going to surprise folks.

Y'all are talking about Chase Lane?! I'm sorry, he's never been impressive! M Muhammed needs to be starting somewhere, he's actually more talented than Ainias as a receiver. I really do like Ainias as more of an all purpose guy. Hopefully some of the young WR step up or it's gonna be a long season on offense...

I agree that Lane can be just kind of a B+ receiver at best with his lack of explosiveness and speed, but that he's been a solid piece of our offense when we've needed him.

And I agree that I want some more skill in that position soon, but if our receivers keep dropping balls like last year, at least Lane has solid hands
