I've not met a cow fan yet that wants to discuss the last 30 years substantively. The conversation always devolves to "how many national titles do you have" and we own you all time. Cow loves to live in the past and talk all about how good they were 17 years ago when recruits today were head first in the birth canal. It gets old.

Well granted, there's nothing to talk about in the last 10 years between A&M and tu, and then in 05 and 08 they did play in title games. Not sure your angle. "We outrecruited you? You lost to Kansas!…" That's not mano y mano, that's just nanna nanna boo boo.

Since 1982 the sips are up one game according to a quick look. They had a huge recruiting advantage over the past 100 plus years but that is ok, we played our best. Taking into consideration the war years it may have had an effect as well. What I clearly remember is how the sips and the land thieves would offer every player possible a scholarship then dumped most of them in their sophomore year. Royal was famous for that. They had an advantage in recruiting and they capitalized on that. Once the NCAA placed rules in effect it leveled the playing field.

Y'all still watching/listening to that garbage is almost as bad as the people who call into the show

A&M is 19-18 over the sips in my lifetime. That's all I look at. Granted, they do have a natty but head to head we are up.

Great, another sippy post. Guys? Who cares about Texas, let them stew in their own feces in the Big 12. They suck as a football program. Let them do their thing in Austin. Still a long ways out to 2025. Far far far to much focus on them.

Right or wrong, they got overall scoreboard. It sucks.

Carving out certain time periods to rationalize a different perspective usually doesn't end well for the slicer and dicer.

It is what it is, unfortunately, and no one cares about our excuses.

My favorite are T-shirt fans born in the 80s and 90s who constantly tout the 'all time record' despite not being alive to witness any of it, ignoring all circumstances associated with it, and entirely overlooking their record over past 30-40 years.

Honestly, how much pride can one really take in a 1920s football program at a school they didn't attend? Apparently, quite a lot...
