We saw that differently. The PI was the play of the drive and a QB that no one is allowed to tackle ran in a TD.

Haynes looks like an Athlete trying to playing qb. Maybe his arm is hurt? Maybe he needs to switch positions? He turns the ball over a lot.

Final conclusion is they all have a ways to go. I know it's a scrimmage, but saw more bad than good. Towards the end of the first quarter I thought that Max started to separate himself, but then much like King his wheels came off. By the 4th quarter he was very pedestrian and surprised this was the guy that we played against at LSU. Weig too his credit looked a bit nervous which is to be expected. But he had the best long ball and that pass to Stewart was a thing of beauty, just a better play by the defense. DBs were the clear winner. Stewart looked good at WR, otherwise way too many drops and Devin Price route running was very sub par. Liked we were consistent on FG's, including the 53 yarder. Need to see more out of Max White, had hands of stone today.

I don't think Connor looked nervous at all, quite the opposite actually.

He was the most composed of the three.

Calzada would stare down receivers but has a rocket arm. The thing that has bothered me with King is he has too much confidence in his arm on down filed throws and his arm is average to slightly above average. Not dogging the guy. If he wins out, great, but you don't need an entire season to evaluate a player's ability so I didn't get all the "small sample size" comments this off season. You can tell arm strength, speed, decision making in a few games or less. I'm not a hater. Again, if he wins out great, but Wiegman and Johnson looked better.

Will have to go back and watch on Tuesday (I was at the game). But thought it was an impressive scoring drive and he threw a crisp ball. The pass PI was a well thrown ball that forced the DB to try to make a play on the ball the only way he could which was through Stewart. But I agree, it ended there outside a couple of good throws, but inconsistent.

If I had to pick right now I would pick Max Johnson....but honestly noone really impressed me all that much.

What game did you watch?

King would have never scored on his early touchdown run in a real game and probably would've gone for a no-gain, especially against anyone other than White who is too slow for this LB position at this level.

So doubt Fisher would ever do this but if all these guys have little separation for the starting job. It should just be handed to Weigman.

I have had a lot of faith in Haynes since I saw him win the 6A state championship. But I am starting to struggle with my faith in him.

It was a very, very tough day to throw. But no excuses. I sure hope the QB whisperer in Jimbo shows up in Aggieland as injury excuses shall not be tolerate this year if the QB room looks suspect again.

Early but I am very nervous our offense is gonna look unchanged and frustrating to watch. Fisher needs to get his offense together in 2022 or become a CEO and allow someone else to drive while he watches all the newly designed cars coming off the assembly line. We need an offense that is simplified for underclassman, yet, finally productive.

King was who he has always been. Nothing really improved.
