Some of the younger folks here are in for a big surprise.
The sips will either be allowed to have their way in this conference, or they will leave of their own accord. What they will not do is stay in a conference that they don't run roughshod over. Believe that.
My guess is they're going to be allowed to do whatever they want to, and the rest of this conference is going to quickly come to understand what a massive self inflicted mistake they've made.
I for one can't wait to say I told you so.
No, they won't, quit being a sheepish lap dog. cow will be told they are as important as Vandy, no more no less. If anyone runs the SEC is it Bama followed by UGA, UT, UF, and LSU. cow, and OU, will be on the same level as aTm and the Miss. schools when they join as far as the importance of their opinion on matters. Regardless, all will have the same vote and cow will not have any undue influence in the SEC.
If they don't like that and want to leave, fine. I do believe the rest of the conference will quickly learn it was a mistake to invite cow, just for the irritant they will become, but what you think will or may happen isn't even remotely possible. The power structure in the SEC lies in the old-guard SEC, and trust me the old-guard SEC would just as soon like to kick aTm, Mizzou, cow and OU out if the meetings, decisions, division/pod, scheduling discussions, etc. got to be too much of a pain in the a** and be quite happy about it. Now, that won't happen due to $$, but that goes back to the above, cow will speak and maybe stomp their feet and wail and smack the table trying to get their way, they will then be told to sit down and be quiet so Vandy or Kentucky can speak and what they have to say will be just as important as what cow thinks or wants.
