I am not the first and won't be the last that has pointed out this is exactly his style. When things are going well he is angry and yelling and chewing people out. Just scored a TD? SO WHAT!

When they have something go against them he smiles and tells his players its ok, do what we coached you to do. Focus and execute, we got this.

It's been his thing for a while.

Until Saban gets recruiting class failures he is going to win. He is gonna have to get tired of recruiting first before his downfall starts

It didn't motivate Saban to work harder.

Saban will however use the loss to motivate his young team to work harder.

If you want to talk about a program that may be about to slide, look at Clemson. They finished 25th in recruiting. If Dabo does not have an elite class next year, they may be in trouble. They will probably still win the ACC most years, but that's not the level they want.

Most spoiled fan base out there. I love earlier this season he clapped back when people were *****ing that Bama wasn't beating every team like a drum. Saban seeks perfect play, but I'm sure he gets tired of listening to idiots.

I do t think he is on a slide but I think the odds will favor Bama less in the future. They'll still be the most likely, but it's going to be tougher.

Things like NIL will spread out the parity.

Saban is a quality coach, no doubt, but his brief foray into the NFL proved that he needs better talent to consistently win at a high level. You know, just like every other good coach. Fisher and Swinney have shown an ability to win it all with great talent, then had a few lucky breaks go their way in the one or 2 games they had against comparably talented teams, but the only modern era coach who has proven to have an ability to win at a very high level regardless of talent is Urban Meyer...oh, wait, he couldn't do it either, could he? Maybe Young Urban Meyer.

Relative talent level is, by far, the most important "skill" a coach can have in college football. Saban has been able to out-talent people for nearly 15 years, and he's won a lot with that. If he sticks around another 10 years then it will be interesting to see if he's able to continue ton win titles (division, SEC, cfb) as his talent level drops.

Still think he's tired of it. Doesn't need the $$ or the headaches. When you reach his age...teenagers are more than a bore. I guarantee you...he's considering his easy chair and more pleasant, year-round weekends.

No kidding: he'll be great working as a commentator/ consultant for CBS or ESPN one day when he retires from coaching. Until then, any college football program only wishes for a part of the success/ sustainment he's done for Bama & its college football program. On that note, glad UGA won! Ags for SEC Championship in the next 4 years!
