The previous 3 classes were 8,6,4.

Ags went 9-1 and won the orange bowl last year.

Ags beat Bama with a backup QB this year.

Ags have had consistent coaching staff for the last 3 years which helps massively with recruiting.

Ags have picked up key national recruits in similar national areas the last few years.

Ags locked down greater Houston this year.

Momentum in the program has as much or more to do with it than NIL, though I'm confident we're playing the game and were ahead of other programs in that department.

This whole situation is bullshot and those screeching know it. The equivalent of telling someone to prove they aren't racist. There is NO correct answer to that question or way to answer it outside of telling that person to go **** themselves.

$250K seems like a bargain compared to what t.u. is reportedly paying their transfer QB.

And Bama's QB has a $1M deal per Saban, signed before the season and his first pass. And it is all legal, WGAF

Technically he is citing an article on a website called brobible.com so maybe the academics at ND aren't as great as they claim.

You can see right in his tweet that he's reading gossip on Brobible. It's not an official sharing any real inside information or professional insight. It's just another blue blood corporate flak whining about a lesser program getting uppity.

Point isn't where but that a major university official is taking it as gospel. Yea, he claims the tweets are his own.. but yea. It's above some rando message boarder. He actually has to be careful what he says and there are real consequences as opposed to random message board user.

I don't care. It's legal and I glad to see we're leading the charge AND doing it the right way. By right way, I mean structured it so these kids are incentivized to stay.

For a 4 or 5 star that's just enough to tide you over till the NFL. You only get to the NFL with good coaching and development

Lol. I told my son as soon as we had the #1 class to expect this kind of response. A&M opts out of a bowl game-we're the devil; we switch conferences-we're the devil; we give a coach a big contract-we're the devil. Geez, I wonder if there's a pattern somewhere in there. Everyone else does the same thing…crickets. Thank goodness no one else ever in the history of college football has ever gotten a number one recruiting class-they would be vilified too.

Everyone else just wants to focus on something else besides the sad state of affairs of their own program. ND is embarrassed for having lost their coach, Venables is back at OU and the negative recruiting is at full force again (shocker), and tu just plain sucks.

I heard from a former OU staff member that OU paid their recruits $100 million to go there. Same thing from a LSU staff member. See how that works. Wonder if I'll be quoted as a source.

Screw them. The season isn't even officially over and I already can't wait for it to start again. I know who we are as Aggies and I love who we are.
