And there was the Madden bus because he refused to fly.
He was quite a character, a great coach, and an informative and entertaining announcer.

A sad day in sports history, for sure. Even if one didn't like the Raiders back in the 70s-80s, John Madden was an exceptional coach, then became a superstar as an announcer. I would rather listen to him calling a game then anyone else. . .it wasn't even close. RIP, John Madden, you will be missed.
