Reminds me of how people seem to blame food poisoning every time they get sick. It's okay to admit that you caught a bug for a day. You don't have to go on Yelp or Facebook and blame the poor folks at your local restaurant just because you picked up a rotavirus from daycare.

AFR - Mike Evans plays at TB, and my uncle was a huge ME fan.


I am for getting your shot to protect yourself, especially if you're in the risky category, healthwise/weight-wise. Personal experience which has me at a wait-&-see approach still:

• I had Covid last year and was a lucky one. One bad day of flu-like body aches which were the real deal holyfield for 18-24hrs. Just one bad day of aches and then woke up the next day felling great. Isolated for the week in a room which sucked ballz.
• My Cousin's husband in bad health passed in his early 60's of covid, before vax avail.
• Friend from HS who was 47, she had been vax'd. Overweight. Passed earlier this year after getting it.
EDIT --- She passed from covid; she had been vaccinated or at least partially vaccinated.
• Close Friend's Vax Experience --- one of 1st available back in Feb 2021. He had recently recovered from a bike accident where he had hurt his back. Had recovered, so he thought. Huge covid-scared type, that over-sheltered and over-isolated in 2020. Got the Pfizer shot and his back started swelling again to the point that he became immobile for months. There's more here, but for brevity ... it was directly related to getting the shot.
• Cousin --- She is in her early 20's. Healthy. Right after her vax shot ... 2month period. 2 months. ANd she began having seizures. Siezure while driving = car accident with hospital stay. Siezure while riding a bike after car accident = head injuries and hospital stay.
• Uncle (the Mike Evans fan) --- Beacon of good health. He is about 10yrs my elder and even when I was running marathons in my 20's/30's, he was doing trikes and was in better shape than me. Regular check-ups at doctor ... ZERO health issues. Few months after the shot ... heart attack and died. 56yrs old. Somehow in a period of 1yr from previous check-up, he had dangerous levels of cholesterol in spite of regular exercise, bike rides, and a healthy-bland diet.
• Friend --- early 60's. Gladly took vax and boosters. He developed psoriasis (or itchy skin rashes) on his legs. Still getting his booster, and there is no doubt in his mind that the sudden onset of unrelenting skid issues is a side effect.

These are real events. Luckily, covid didnt affect me like my HS friend or cousin's husband. I was waiting previously for my 3months to pass before getting the vax, but having seen 1st hand side effects ... I dont know if the side effects are worth the risk, especially when all it did to me was give me body aches, 1 night of a fever, 1 day of being very tired, and brief labored breathing.

To each their own.

Oh boy, you covid sheep just need to keep hiding under the sheets, let the adults handle reality for you. Fearing a virus with a 99% recovery rate is plain pathetic. I've had it twice, came out fine. Yes, I know 2 people who have died with the Vid, they also had other underlying medical conditions. Both were in their 30s. It doesn't change my mind about anything.

The vaccine is also a joke.
