Billy did not sound right today on show. Jimbo is killing it, but he sounded worried about the Gator Bowl getting cancelled due to Covid.

It's gonna be extremely disappointing if this game gets canceled.

With that being said, I'm curious if this is going to affect other bowl games also. The NFL is postponing games and the NHL paused their season. Who knows what this means for us and the CFB as a whole?

If ever there was one Texas A&M bowl game that had to be cancelled, I would take cancellation of this year's Gator Bowl. We have no proven quarterback, we have lost numerous starters to the NFL Draft, and we have already had loss of practice by some players due to COVID-19.

I look forward to watching the Gator Bowl and cheering on our Aggies playing with some real 12th Man players 100 years from when the 12th Man tradition began if both the Demon Deacons and our Aggies are healthy enough to compete on the gridiron on New Year's Eve.

For now, Beat The Hell Outta Wake Forest!!!!!

With a walk on quarterback and opt outs, there is a very good chance we are going to lose. As another poster above said, this is probably the best year for us to have our bowl game canceled. At least this didn't happen last year before we won the orange bowl.

Its gonna suck if the high school AA games are canceled. Two yrs in a row. The rosters are FULL of Ags!

He was disappointed Pawwwwl wasn't hosting the show.

Mississippi State played 'Bama lwith like 49 players last year & were surprisingly competitive. Quit whining like a bunch of beeches, get your arse ass out there & play the forking game.

Honestly I haven't cared this little about a bowl game in decades. Bost starting, players sitting out. Better to just make use of the practices if possible then call it a year.

All remaining bowls are canceled. It's a conspiracy to protect Cincinnati from getting publicly pummeled. Cincy is the epicenter of DEEPSTATE. That's all I'm able to say at this time.

Who makes the call? The Gator Bowl, the NCAA, the state of Florida or someone else.

If Florida makes the call, the game will be played and the Karens can watch on tv.

So basically kids have the flu. That's all this is. Call it what you want, it's kids having the equivalent of the flu. The cdc, who, nih, etc. are all banging the drum that this is dangerous. If you fall into a certain category, take precautions, just like you should have been before 2020. I'm totally fed up with all this ***** It is here FOREVER, adjust and move on. Hopefully the idiots running the bowl let it play out. Concussions and torn ACL's are more of a concern than catching a cold.

You right. Yeah, we might just be about to pull the move that Ole Miss used on us for our rescheduled game in December last year. They had the same Covid cases the week before they played us, and they still went out and played, but then they cancelled on us because other than Bama, we were playing the best football in CFB. They had Covid and used it as the excuse to not play because they didn't want these hands. Sucky thing to do, imo. If guys are sick, sit them down. If they aren't sick, have enough trust in yourselves and respect for WF to go play, just my thoughts

Actually, for most of these players it is likely less than the flu and more like allergies/light cold.

I think it's highly unlikely it gets cancelled. I thought that the rule was if you aren't vaccinated you have to quarantine for a period then get a negative test. But if you are vaccinated you just need a negative test and you're good. Since omicron is so mild I bet they are all negative by Christmas

There is absolutely no reason for anyone with half a brain cell to cancel any game... Sadly, this means there is a chance that some games get canceled. Fingers are crossed that sanity prevails.
