The state of Alabama got a lesson this year. Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana not so much. Then again learning isn't really a thing in any of those states.

OK, OK. But to establish a tier system, we need to restart our winning streak against Arkansas, never lose to the Mississippi schools period and beat LSU 2-3-4 times in a row. We need to continue to beat Auburn home and away and when Fexas joins the conference we need to beat their ass the first time we play them. Bama will always be our rival for 1st place in the west as it is constituted now and we can compete with that.

Interesting when you break it out this way.

I think a reasonable goal is to go .500 with Alabama, .500 or better with LSU (.750 is within reach imo), 1.000 for Ark/state of Mississippi and .750 or better with Auburn. If we can do that, it puts us at 10 wins most years, 11 or 12 occasionally. That sets us up well for SECCG and CFP every couple of years and would make me very happy.
