There is no way the Big12 will give back the tv rights, or sell them back for less than face value. There is no incentive for them to ever do so. Without that tu and out bring $0 to the SEC and are not worth anything. The only reason they were invited was for their tv rights.

In what world does that make sense? I think people are confusing exit fees and tv rights. The SEC would have to pay 100% of the revenue brought in by tu and ou to the Big12. The SEC would get $0 from those games. So in what world would the SEC do that?

You people realize Snakey screwed us before...and he's about to do it again by covering OU's costs and t.u. will whine about it.
So Snakey will use SEC monies that were supposed to go to current members via revenue-sharing to placate t.u. and pay for them too.

Why would they. The benefit for the SEC is in forward forecast streaming. This is more of a rush for them than the SEC.

So about those recruits who are about to sign tomorrow and thought they were going to be playing in the SEC? Seems like they should stick with a real team
