If you recall, we tried that on 3rd and 2 against LSU. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how unpredictable the play calling is if execution isn't there.
Desperately need a new offensive coordinator. We won't but we need it to win championships. I believed we would have won 10+ with better play calling. A better qb would help cover up for our predictable vanilla offense but a creative OC would /could do wonders with tje talent already on campus.

They run play action when they pass on occasion. Has Jimbo considered that concept? Or is that too much for ZC to process?

Disagree. If Jimbo would have done nothing but give the ball to Achane in the fourth quarter of the OM and LSU games, we would have won both of them.
Baylor would not be bowl eligible if they played our schedule.
Threw to a 'wide open' wr. Genius. Wonder if it had anything with Baylol running a naked and the man coverage bs didn't attach and bit on the fake? Bad defense doesn't equate to great playcalls. FYI- we run boots and nakeds often, but defenses don't typically fall asleep like Pokes did. The fact that Baylol was in 22 personnel and the opposite of 'opening it up' is hilarious. I am not going to say big 12 stats are meaningless but they kind of are. Osu and baylor would not finish in the top 6-8 of the sec so they play in a JV conference. You don't really count stats of jv games in high school and osu having the third best defense is a perfect example of why.
I see Baylor's 2 and 3 star wide receivers outperforming our 4 and 5 stars by a mile! It's sad

Like A&M, if they moved and played in the SEC they would likely be able to improve their recruiting with the exposure and notoriety of playing in the best conference. They are doing very well given their circumstances.

Sweet. Now let's do WR drops, missed blocks by OL, and poor route running. It's a combination of many things that cause a play to fail. If you had any idea what you were talking about you would know that but you are just like 99% of the fans in the stands yelling at the coach to call something different all the while not realizing that the same B gap run can be called about 30 different ways from 10 different formations.
We should hire Kliff to return and be our offensive coordinator.

Both Baylor and OSU both have a QB who is a running threat.
That TD there two Baylor defenders went with the QB who handed the ball off and ran outside. The threat of a running QB allowed the RB to walk into the end zone.

Stick to bouncy ball
Last night, Utah ran a similar play on 3rd and short that we did. They executed it well and got a 1st. QB got rid of the ball sooner and blockers blocked for Utah.
