we don't have to. we have a guy with 10 starts; 8 in the SEC.

but texags hates that guy, so he doesn't count.

No silly goose. We have an experienced guy who will likely be our backup, a returning QB who originally won the starting job, and an incoming freshman who is one of the highest rated in the nation.

We don't need another option and no QB of the caliber we need is going to use their grad transfer to come here and likely ride the bench.

With the defense we had coming back this year and 2 QB's that were very young on the roster, did we go get a grad transfer? Why would if he didn't last year?

Now if Caleb Williams were in portal or someone of that ilk? absolutely

Not going to happen and probably never will unless Jimbo changes his offense.

Stick what we have. We have several good QBs in the stable. They need to get well and develop . The D and O lines need to get better and the secondary needs to learn how to tackle in space and cover. My goodness if they could just cover and tackle look where we would be.

Huh? He has Calzada (who started basically the entire year), King (who won the job in the fall), and an incoming freshman who is one of the best in the country. Sounds like plenty of competition.
