I agree with this. I would also add the slow starts to big games. We found ourselves down 10 points in the 1Q in three of our four losses. Immediately playing from behind when the other team is flying high with momentum just derails your game plan.

Hey, I am enjoying just not being New Mexico State. I used to think Aggie football was a lot more important than it is. I'd love a championship of some kinddivisional, conference, national, whatever. But, I will not lose any sleep over it if it never does happen.

My assumption is he will go to a lesser power 5 school as the coaching carousel goes…

We are on the Michigan plan. They finally are having a good year (similar offense). It took 7 years. We'll see if it's sustainable. That's always been an issue here. Can't keep the momentum.

240 yards, 3 TD and no INT with a 67% completion percentage (if youre receivers catch the ball) should have been enough to beat Bama. The fact that we lost with those stats tells me there is more amiss than JUST the QB.

Stewart's in along with Noah Thomas and Chris Marshall. Gonna have a group of very talented WRs along with a group of very talented QBs working with an experienced and talented OL. We'll lose some on defense, but with the young studs that have been backing up this year's DL and a better secondary and LB group.

I'm not worried about the players we lose good we get higher rated ones coming in.
I am worried about the coaching, especially on offense. We have shown a tendency to be very stubborn with who we play when better options exist and developing wr's. If Achane gets 70% of carries he is a heisman candidate. I think we will have an all American on defense for sure in A Johnson and a potential one in Achane.

Not sure if the team will be better but the record definitely needs to be. And I think it will. In my view this years team is a 10-2 team. Injuries, inconsistency and bad breaks resulted in less but the team was easily that good.

We damn well better be.

As long as we have better and more consistent QB play.
