It means Ole Miss is going to the Sugar Bowl

LSU is a trash school with a trash program. They need to hire an OC that wants to HC. No head coach at a top tier program is going to walk into that swamp.
Where is he on record saying that? While I can certainly believe that, I've only seen positive quotes from him about his time at LSU and what it means for the team to represent the entire state of Louisiana.Quote:
Aranda is not going to LSU. He is on a quiet record that he doesn't think he is a fit for their culture.

I'm sure LSU wouldn't do it, but at the same time be careful what you wish for. I'm not sure he'd do badly at LSU. His resume as a whole is better than Ed O's was when he got handed the keys. Lester and Ed O tell me a middling coach who can recruit and get a little lucky can win a lot at LSU, up to and including a national championship.Drake aTm said:

LSU guys saying Aranda has never received much interest from LSU. Neither did Napier.
Seems unlikely to be Aranda.
Pittman probably retires in Arkansas in the next 5 years or so, has had a home in Arkansas for years. Don't think he's going anywhere.Hehateme1 said:
I still think their best bet is Pittman from Arkansas, that dude can coach.
It is only a mistake if it is not a home run hire, we don't know if it is or isn't yet. Looking less and less likely though.Stat Monitor Repairman said:
LSUs first mistake was hyping up this hire as a home run hire.
We'll see.
