I heard a rumor that coach Prime was a leading candidate at TCU. He lives in the metro plex and with NIL he has a high profile to bring in players. I haven't seen much from him to think he is a very good coach but it would likely be exciting. I think the way things are heading schools want big names more than they want good coaches.

I could be wrong, but I think I remember that he's had some success with the transfer portal getting D-1 caliber guys that didn't work out at big schools to come to Jackson St. So yes, he'd be out-athleting the competition.

I think he's def got a future. Just think TCU is a little too afraid to go with someone with so little track record.

I think they want Napier but he's holding out for LSU. IMO, Dykes would be a very Meh hire. I don't think sonny brings anything special.

They legitimately thought Chris Petersen was on the table for them. Not one person there spelled it any other way than Peterson, but they all believed it was an option.

The rumor may have been around for a while, but i don't think TCU had any serious interest. He checks 3 or 4 out of about 10 boxes, but one of them is the WOW box. However, that's not what is going to end up getting him the job.

AT BEST, it was a trial balloon on TCU's part. Coaches use schools; TCU may have been using Deion.

Nothing wrong with it. Just that he will not be able to out-recruit the competition at tcu to the degree he is in fcs. Must be more than a recruiter to succeed at tcu.

He's the ONLY person who has a Super Bowl ring and a World Series ring.
