SEC officiating crew once again. They didn't lose the game for A&M, but these dudes have been atrocious all year.

Yeah. Not happy one bit with how they did. I saw a missed call or 2 that they could've made that would have hurt us, too, that they didn't call. Hard for me to really stick this L on them when our offense tries to show off by giving OM a 2 quarter head start though

The targeting on Chappell, the late hit on Cooper (I think it was Cooper; the one where our defender prevented Corral from stretching to the pylon and that was somehow a late hit), and not reviewing the first interception to see if it was a simultaneous catch seemed to me like the three worst calls of the night. The face mask on Leal looked very marginal, the replay looked like he touched but didn't grab the face mask. Would have liked to see a replay on the personal foul against 58 as well, the only foul I saw on the play was DPI in the end zone which went uncalled.

We didn't play well enough to win, but it still felt like we were on the bad end of too many calls.

Worst call by far was not measuring the third down play when they spotted it pass the first down marker. I thought it was a favorable (incorrect) spot, but how do you not measure (and then measure the failed fourth down conversion that was a full yard short…

I thought the officiating was fine. A few calls missed here and there. Biggest goof, imho, was the missed substitution delay - that should have been a no play. But the officiating didn't cost us the game - we did.

I think the constant whining about officiating is the realm of the lazy fan. Double standards on all rules - holding, PI, etc. It's terribly tiresome for those around you to listen to the whining.

We lost the game but the refs definitely didn't do us any favors.

Ole Miss was dragging our dline to the ground on numerous occasions, the play they got to run when we were subbing & not set, not measuring the first down when it was much closer than their fake field goal they measured, the long third down they converted on the pass that appeared to hit the ground, the late hit on Chappel when Corral slid head first. I am sure there are a few more.

All of these plays didn't help, but our play calling and offenses performance is what did us in. Coming into the game we knew Ole Miss was going to score some points. The offense kept our defense on the field to much last night. We had several very short fourth downs we could have attempted. Why not fake a punt every once in a while? We had several 3rd down and 5-6 yards in good field position & instead of running the ball either for a first down or at least setting up a manageable 4th down we threw the ball. Jimbo put the game in Calzada's hand which is exactly what Ole Miss needed/wanted us to do.

It was a bit refreshing to see Kiffin lose his **** when they got called for defensive delay when his safety was clapping. He was shocked and appalled they would call that kind of bull***** It looks like the ref said "We've been calling Aggie games like that all year long." That is just such a ridiculous call. Even the announcers seemed stunned both times they called it on safeties last night.

The SEC should be able to do much better with officiating. Hell, hire double the officials needed at the start of the year and let them work games late in the year based on a grading system. Give those guys working games a bonus. It can't be that hard to have competent officiating.

If you dont like it then leave, otherwise stop lookin for handouts and get off your can and become a chef, contractor, politician, game warden(that gets you the outdoors stuff AND L.E.O/military credentials), and last but not least, play some sports. Instead of whining about the way things are you did something about it and got better in the process.

This was strange but mostly in the context of them measuring (and reviewing) the one that was clearly a yard short. Measurements are very rare today which is fine by me but it was like they were begging for a way to convert that dumb fake.

understatement. All he had to do was give it to Achane. It's wild. He didn't even put Achane in the game instead. He probably cost us the Msu game for the same reason. The guy needs an Oc. He sucks at it. We've sucked for 4 years on offense vs good teams bc him.
